2014 is here! While this weekend isn’t as action-packed as we’ve become accustomed too, there’s still plenty of fun to be had!
On the first Friday of every month from 5-8pm (& later), the Village at Grand Traverse Commons hosts First Friday featuring art, food and drink samples, shopping & wining & dining specials, live music and more. Highlights this month are The Neptune Quartet at Left Foot Charley Winery, a Poetry Slam, paintings by Dan Oberschulte at Gallery Fifty and a slew of specials.
Ultraviolet Hippopotamus brings a one-of-a-kind musical experience to InsideOut Gallery Friday (Jan 3) and Saturday (Jan 4). UV Hippo is an explosive five-piece progressive improvisational band with a rapidly growing fan base across the U.S. and, more recently, Europe.
The Windy Ridge Boys are an adventurous instrumental ensemble playing jazz, classic popular songs and “Lake Leelanau Blues” starting at 7 PM at The Workshop.
Every Saturday from 10 AM – 2 PM, the Traverse City Indoor Farmers Market in the Mercato at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons is your go-to location for fresh produce and delicious food products.
