Traverse City Beer Week starts on Friday and the weekend is packed with events celebrating beer & breweries. Read on from some great events and definitely check out our packed weekend calendar for more!

Beggars Brewery Beer Release Party! at Little Fleet TC’s newest and most talked about brewery will be releasing their first beer “Old Friends Pale Ale” exclusively at The Little Fleet. Meet Michael, Beggars Brewery founder and brewer and welcome him to our thriving Craft Beer scene!


TC Beer Week Pub Crawl TC Beer Week kicks off with a Pub Crawl from 7pm until close at six TC locations, each hosting different beers from Short’s Brewing Company at The Little Fleet, Bubba’s, U&I Lounge, Brew, 7 Monks, and Firefly. Pick up your Pub Crawl Passport at any participating location – completed Passports can be turned in for a Traverse City Beer Week t-shirt, while supplies last. No purchase necessary for a punch, so your designated driver can participate too!

Craft Beer Cookbook Menu Featured at Amical Amical’s chefs and the local beer geeks have joined forces to create a menu that combines brews from The Filling Station, Terra Firma, Shorts, and Petoskey Brewing with recipes from John Holl’s American Craft Brew Cookbook.

Brewery Vivant at Inside Out Gallery Brewery Vivant owner Jason Spaulding will be on hand with 6 beers from Brewery Vivant including the release of Plowhorse Imperial Stout!


Hangover Breakfast at The Towne Plaza an a la carte breakfast includes your meal and beer pairings, presented by the people of Greenbush Brewery.

Traverse City Indoor Farmers Market The Indoor Market takes every Saturday from 10-2 through the winter in the Mercato at the Village at Grand Traverse Commons!

Casks Ale Fest at Little Fleet Cask Ales are unfiltered and unpasteurized beers which are conditioned and served from the cask. Enjoy beers from Shorts, Bells, Arcadia, New Holland, Right Brain and Atwater. Tapping the cask ale is a real art, and if you don’t get it right, beer flies everywhere, sometimes in your face! See our local celebrities tap the kegs beginning at 10am.

Belgian Night with Brewery Vivant at 7 Monks Jasonof Brewery Vivant will be on hand as you try their specialty Belgians! The event will also feature Cave Blend, a wild ale aged for one year in oak barrels.

Beer Tasting at The Beverage Company Taste selections from Saugatuck Brewing Company at this complementary event and meet the people behind the Saugatuck brand.


Earthwork Collective Tour The tour will feature each act in their prime, and will also feature the power of spontaneous combustion through collaboration, some rehearsed, some raw. We’ll do a couple of sets for the shows (60 min. or so) and have some epic storytelling banter! General Admission: $20. Students: $10 (must show student ID at the door).
