Brengman Brothers invites you to their annual summer tasting of wines from the new and recently bottled vintages this Saturday, July 5 from 11-7.
“This is a chance to be one of the first people to taste the fruits of our vineyard,” says winemaker Robert Brengman. “Our new releases span the range from crisp Gewurztraminer to barrel-fermented Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to three spectaular Rieslings made in the Old World Trocken, Spatlese and Beerenauslese styles.”
The event is free for members and $25 for non-members and includes the entrance fee to the wine tasting tables, special discounts (only on this day) for wine bottle and case purchasing, a fabulous cheese and fruit table staged during the wine tasting activities and a full picnic menu with verjus marinated chicken legs, Alexander & Hornung knackwurst, hot dogs, salads, chips and dessert.
Also included is a seat to attend the concert with the Largemouth Brass Band that begins at 5:00 PM on the Lawn. Michael Davison and John Aley on trumpet, Robert Pavelek on horn, Mark Lusk on trombone and Philip Sinder on tuba. These guys are world renowned musicians that spend two weeks of their summer teaching at Interlochen and this is their only scheduled concert while in Traverse City… don’t miss this one!
